Thoughts for the Day

The season of Advent begins tomorrow, a season of preparation for Christmas when we will celebrate the birth of Jesus. As I have done for the last two years, I will be writing a series of daily “thoughts” for the season, which I will publish via this blog. For anyone who followed this series last year, it will be largely the same, but then it is the same story and bears retelling. For anyone new or who stumbles across this site and wonders whether to give it a try, you are very welcome. You will find each day’s blog is 300 to 400 words and begins with a passage from the bible. Beyond that I can only invite you to give the series a try and hope that you will find it helpful, occasionally thought-provoking and at least a bit different!
